Algarve Veterans Football Tournament is 20 minutes from Faro airport. The event is held on professional standard pitches on the grounds of the Alfamar Beach and Sport Resort. The resort is located on 8 miles of blue green water and white sandy beach. Close is the Albufeira resort it is the busiest resort on the Algarve. It has a very lively nightlife scene centered on the Old Town and ‘the strip’. The resort’s marina is surrounded by restaurants, bars, luxury hotels, designer shops and casinos. The Algarve’s seemingly endless coastline includes some of Europe’s best beaches and water sports facilities. Above all be prepared for an awesome experience.

DAY 1 Tue 22 Sept PM – Depart from your Local Airport fly to Lisbon

DAY 2 Wed 23 Sept AM/PM – Arrive transfer to hotel check in / Sight-see Lisbon

DAY 3 Thur 24 Sept AM/PM – Sight-see Lisbon all day / friendly Game with reception to follow

DAY 4 Fri 25 Sept AM/PM – Transfer to the Algarve Meet and Greet transfer to the Alfamar Beach & Sport Resort. Relax by the pool or head down to Alfamar’s beach and Bar Atlantico. check into hotel

DAY 5 Sat 26 Sept AM/PM – The Algarve Veterans Football Tournaments, kick-off around 10.30am. In between games there’s time to relax by the beach or pool. After the football there’s the Tournament Party with The Trophy Presentations and ‘Happy Hour’ at nearby bar/restaurant ‘Capri’.

DAY 6 Sun Sept 27 AM/PM – Free time for relaxation, sunbathing, sightseeing. If you’re still feeling active play a round of golf on an international standard course, or play an additional friendly football match.

DAY 7 Mon Sept 28 AM/PM – Albufeira and Vilamoura sight-seeing are popular options today.
