Jersey Soccer Tour Veterans Cup. The Channel Island of Jersey lies 100 miles from the south of England and just 14 miles from the coast of France. Jersey offers a blend of British and French influences, a fascinating and complex history, stunning coastline and landscape. The Jersey coastline features majestic cliffs, exposed bays, sandy beaches and rocky coves with fantastic vistas of the Atlantic Ocean. Inland you’ll find lush valleys, unspoiled countryside and cozy village inns. The island’s capital, St Helier, offers tax free shopping, fine restaurants and a lively nightlife with a range of clubs and late night bars to suit most tastes
The tournament
The tournament is open to mens teams 35 and above. A maximum of 16 teams can participate in the competition. Matches are 2 x 15 minutes. Teams will play a minimum of 4 games. All matches will be played at Le Quennavais Sports Center, Jersey. There are four beautifully manicured full size pitches on this modern, attractive complex. They also have on site swimming pool, bar, cafe and other recreational facilities. Le Quennavais is situated just over four miles from the capital of St. Helier. Thi is a well established event played at an award winning sports complex, the tournament features Channel Islands, UK and occasionally, International teams. The stunning island of Jersey has a rich and varied history. St Helier has excellent nightlife including many award winning restaurants.
After or Before the Tournament spend 4 Nights in London playing friendly games, Sight-seeing and watching Pro games.
DAY 1 Thur Oct 1 PM – Depart from your Local Airport fly to Jersey
DAY 2 Fri Oct 2 AM/PM – Arrive transfer to hotel check in / Sight-see Jersey
DAY 3 Sat Oct 3 AM/PM – All day Tournament games
DAY 4 Sun Oct 4 AM/PM – Sight-see relax enjoy Jersey Golf day
DAY 5 Mon Oct 5 AM/PM – Transfer to airport for flight to London Friendly Game / Pro Game
DAY 6 Tues Oct 6 AM/PM – Sight-see London All day
DAY 7 Wed Oct 7 AM/PM – Sight-see London Friendly Game vs local vets team
DAY 8 Thur Oct 8 AM/PM – Fly Home
