Colombia Soccer Tour- Friendlies 11 Days

Colombia Soccer Tour- Friendlies 11 Days. If you have never been to Colombia your in for a surprise. With its unique architecture it seems like you are in London NYC and The rolling hills of Switzerland at the same time.  WSS will bring your team to Play friendly games sight-see 3 different regions and see pro matches for 11 days.  Don’t be intimidated by the sprawling, bustling city of Bogotá. Colombia’s capital is truly historic and packed with touristy things to do. It’s also got a cool, hip, and even chic side to it as well. From its weekly Ciclovía bike route through the streets to its upscale neighborhoods filled with great restaurants, parks, and excellent nightlife, Bogotá is a real cosmopolitan city.  After you’ve explored the Gold Museum,  La Candelaria the old city , climbed Monserrate a mountain overlooking Bogota you can take a bike tour of the city.

After 3 days of Bogota you can head out of town for 3 nights in Medellin. Here you will sight-see, play a friendly game against the local youth club and see another pro game.  Nicknamed the “City of Eternal Spring” for its nearly perfect weather, you’ll find plenty of parks and plazas where you can enjoy the sunshine with a fresh juice from a street food vendor and a couple of empanadas. (meat and potato pies) Make sure you learn all about the city’s past in order to appreciate how far it’s come – there are plenty of museums and tours that’ll educate you, along with authentic markets and neighborhoods to explore. The city is also home to great restaurants, cafes, bars, and even clubs that’ll have you salsa dancing the night away… or trying to anyway.

Next its on to Cartagena for 3 nights where you will lounge on some of the best beaches in the world, play your last friendly match or be trained by a Colombian coach.  One of the most attractive features of Cartagena is that it is on the coast. It is rare to find such a built-up city with such pristine coastline, but Cartagena delivers. Many travelers, however, choose to spend a day or two on the islands to rest and relax away from the business of the big city. Isla de Tierra Bomba is not to be missed.  Although Cartagena is an expansive, sprawling city, it is the historical areas that draw the largest numbers of tourists. The historical quarters are those that sit along the coastal edge of Cartagena. It is a rather convenient place to visit.
